Community Heat that Works!

A unique Bio-Heat Tour + Information Session

April 20-22, Burlington, Vermont $425 (incl. GST)

LAST CHANCE TO PARTICIPATE.
FRIDAY APRIL 9 WE RELEASE UNCOMMITTED HOTEL SPACE.

Join us for a three-day tour in Vermont—the state with more installed bioenergy than anywhere else in North America.

The Canadian Bioenergy Association (CanBio) is helping Canadian communities shift from fossil-fuel heat to local, money-saving and environmentally-friendly bio-heat. Whether you are in the final planning stages of installing a community bio-heat system, or you’re curious about the potential for biomass heating in small, medium, and large public buildings—this study tour is the perfect opportunity to get a first-hand look at bio-heat installations that work.

This two-day study tour and one-day information session will show you how wood chips and pellets are being used economically to heat public schools, colleges, courthouses, and other institutional buildings, as well as run a 50MW power plant.

Accommodation:

Our base will be the warm, comfortable Double Tree Inn in Burlington Vermont, where we will meet for drinks and a welcome introduction Monday evening, April 19th. We will stay three nights, but you are welcome to stay longer. There is an indoor pool and fitness centre, with free wireless high-speed and parking. Registrants should make their own way to Burlington, though if there are enough requests we may arrange a minivan from Montreal.

We have a block of rooms set aside at a special price of $93/night for our delegates. To book on-line click here, or call 1-800-222-TREE and ask for the CanBio or Canadian Bioenergy Association room block.
