20th European Biomass Conference- Milan, Italy, June 11-22
CanBio is leading a small mission of Canadians interested in attending Europe's largest biomass conference, typically drawing 1,500 people. Originally of most interest to policy makers, researchers, engineers and academics, it is of increasing interest to investors and other financing institutions. Key streams include Biomass Resources, R&D for Biomass Conversion Technologies such as heat, power, chemicals and fuels (including the latest in torrefied wood production), Industrial Demonstration and Business Concepts, and Policies, Markets, and Sustainability. Networking opportunities abound.
This year there will be a special side event sponsored by IEA Task 40, Bio-trade "Biomass and Bioenergy: An Investors Perspective", that will look at game changer supply chains and a unique Bio-trade Equity Fund that will invest in Canadian plants and supply chains.
Conference registration is €890. For those interested only in the Task 40 side event, registration is €80. For more information on the 20th European Biomass Conference, click here.
CanBio has limited GOA travel support funding; approximately $2,300 per person for associations, $1,100 per person for companies. The funding is limited, so sign up early.
